ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 08.09.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking rectification of mistakes that has crept in during computerization of patta of the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.G.Ilamurugu, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.Vadivelu Deenadayalan, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 3.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he is the absolute owner of the subject property by virtue of a sale deed dated 28.02.1989 registered as document No.303 of 1989. Subsequently, patta was also issued in the name of the petitioner. However, the name of a third party was erroneously entered by the third respondent and patta No.983 was issued. The petitioner submitted a representation in this regard seeking rectification of the mistake. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the 2/4

case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to second respondent to deal with the petitioner's representation dated 08.09.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording opportunity to the petitioner and the fourth respondent and final orders shall be passed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
