The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent police not to harass the petitioner under 1/5
the guise of enquiry.
When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, submitted that based on a complaint given by one Bharathi Chowdri through the Police Help Line number, the respondent Police had conducted an enquiry and that the petitioner was called only for enquiry and had not been harassed by the respondent Police. He further submitted that since the dispute between the said Bharathi Chowdri and the petitioner is civil in nature, arising out of the demolition of a wall, the respondent has closed the enquiry and directed the parties to approach the civil Court.
