O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the 2nd respondent police to provide police protection for measuring the petitioners land in Survey No.19/3, Thokavadi Village, Tiruvannamalai District, based on the representation given by the 1st respondent dated 03.04.2025 to the 2nd respondent police.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has approached the 1st respondent for survey of his land and the 1st respondent had fixed the date of survey as 04.04.2025. However, when the 1st respondent had gone for survey on 04.04.2025, it was objected by the 3rd and 4th respondents and they have created problem. The 1st respondent has sought police protection by letter dated 03.04.2025. However, police protection has not been given. He would further submit that the 1st respondent is ready to fix another date for survey and would seek for police protection.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that if the 1st respondent gives a fresh request fixing the date of survey, after 2/4

issuing notice to the adjacent land owners, the respondent Police will be able to give protection.

4. Recording the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Writ Petition is disposed of. 14.11.2025 vsi To
