ORDER

This contempt application is filed bringing to the notice of this Court the wilful disobedience that when the petitioner had earlier filed Crl.O.P.No.22027 of 2025 and when the matter came up for arguments on behalf of the respondent police, it was submitted that they have filed final report referring the matter as mistake of fact and RCS notice has also been issued. Therefore, giving liberty to the petitioner to file such objections to the report before the trial Court, the Criminal Original Petition was closed. Thereafter, when the petitioner filed copy application, it was returned. It was noticed that no such final report has been filed in the copy application. Therefore, the respondents have wilfully furnished false information to this Court and as such the contempt petition.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, the Learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent would produce a copy of the RCS notice in Serial No.021719 along with the receipt for sending the RCS notice by registered post. This apart, a copy of the final report that was filed is also produced before this Court.

3. In view thereof, now the petitioner can file the objections, if any and after recording the same, the contempt petition stands closed. 08-12-2025 bsm To,
