The petitioner is a Stage Carriage Operator from Thiruchengode to Karur. His grievance was that M/s.Tamil Nadu State Road Transport Corporation(TNSTC) are operating a road carriage in TN30 N 0788 contrary to the permit condition. Hence, he gave a representation to the respondents to conduct an enquiry and pass orders.

2. When the matter came up for admission, Mr.M.Shajahan informed this Court that he will instruct the 1st respondent to conduct an enquiry, after hearing the TNSTC Salem Division, and submit a report. Hence, I posted the matter today.

3.When I took up the matter today, Mr.M.Shajahan has produced a report of the 2nd respondent viz., the Regional Transport Officer (South) Namakkal. The said instructions read as follows:- 2/6

4. In terms of the concluding portion of the proceedings, it is made clear that TNSTC has undertaken to ply the vehicle in accordance with the permit issued to them. In case, there is any breach thereof, the 2nd respondent is directed to take immediate action and issue check slips and ensure compliance. 4/6
