The petitioner seek limited prayer by way of issuance of writ of Mandamus to direct the Tamil Nadu Wakf Board to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.12.2024.

2. The petitioner has sought for execution of lease deed in her favour pursuant to Wakf Properties Lease Rules, 2014. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation is kept in cold storage and no orders have been passed thereon.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that on account of Board not being constituted, there is delay in taking action on the representation/ request of the petitioner and would seek 12 weeks time to dispose of the petitioner's representation.

4. It is made clear that whether Board is constituted or not, in the meantime the CEO shall take a call on petitioner's representation and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs. 2/4
