Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned show cause notice in proceedings Ref.No.Na.Ka.No.075061/C2/E1/2023 dated 02.01.2024 issued by the second respondent and quash the same as disregarding the decision of the Division Bench of this Court in W.A.No.1292 of 2012 dated 21.11.2014 and the provisions of the Special Rules for Tamil Nadu School Educational Subordinate Service governing the post of BT Assistant and consequently forbearing the second respondent from taking any coercive action including termination of the petitioner's services as B.T.Assistant on the ground that the petitioner secured 29 marks in English in her Kerala Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination in the year 2000. This writ petition has been filed challenging impugned show cause notice dated 02.01.2024 issued by the second respondent.
2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.
3. On perusal of the records, it is revealed that upon receipt of the show cause notice, the petitioner submitted an explanation, which is pending consideration. Therefore, the show cause notice has been acted upon and the second respondent ought to have passed orders on the explanation submitted by the petitioner.

In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to consider the explanation submitted by the petitioner pursuant to the show cause notice dated 02.01.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
