O R D E R

The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 120B, 406, 417, 420, 468, 470 and 471 of IPC in Crime No.287 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused had cheated several persons under the guise of on-line trading to the tune of Rs.69,00,000/-. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that petitioner is the mother of A1 and she has not received any amount. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that so far no amount has been recovered and the investigation is pending. Hence, he 2/4

opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. The learned counsel appearing for the defacto complainant/intervenor raised objection for granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner stating that the petitioner only induced the defacto complainant to deposit the amount. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering the fact that investigation in this case is pending and the so far no amount has been recovered and it needs detailed investigation, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed. 12.11.2025 sma T.V.THAMILSELVI, J.
