Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first and second respondents to consider and process the family pension papers of the petitioner without insisting for the approval from the Revenue Authorities regarding the name of the petitioner.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for family pension on the demise of her husband.
2. The petitioner, the wife of one Velayudham, who got retired from service as Joint Registrar of Co-operative Societies. He had received pension till his demise i.e. 28.09.2023. Thereafter, the petitioner applied for family pension. However, it was not considered for the reason that in the service records, the petitioner's name was recorded as Jaya Velayutham instead of Jeyakodi.
3. Now, it is also clarified that the petitioner's name is recorded as Jayakodi.
4. In view of the above, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to disburse the family pension to the petitioner along with arrears of family pension, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
