ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 118(1), 109(1), 351(3) of BNS, 2023 in Crime No. 129 of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner due to previous enmity waylaid the defacto complainant and thereafter taken him and attacked him indiscriminately by using wooden log and also threatened him and also attempted to cut by using knife. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it is a case of false complaint and victim has been discharged from the hospital. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any condition as may be imposed by this Court. Therefore, he prays for grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police reported that the petitioner is the main accused in this case and used the wooden log and knife and attacked the defacto complainant indiscriminately. He further submitted that the petitioner has four previous cases of similar nature. Hence, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 2/5

Considering the fact that the petitioner attacked the defacto complainant and caused severe injuries and also taking note of the fact that the petitioner is having bad antecedents, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
