O R D E R
Mr.M.R.Gokul Krishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. With the consent of both sides, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2.This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to pass the award and pay the compensation amount for balance extent of acquired land measuring 2920 Sq. Mtrs, comprised in the S.No.639/A8B in Mugalur Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District and to dispose of representation dated 15.07.2025

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the respondents have acquired the subject land belonging to the petitioner to the extent of 7960 Sq.Mtrs., the compensation was awarded only for the extent of 5040 Sq.Mtrs. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 15.07.2025 to pass the
award for balance extents of acquired land measuring 2920 Sq.mtrs. But no action has been taken on the same till date. Hence, this Petition.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that there is no acknowledgment for the receipt of the aforesaid representation. However, the respondent concerned would consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner, if the same is available with the respondents and in case the representation is not available with the respondents, the petitioner may be directed to submit a copy of the representation dated 15.07.2025 along with a copy of this order to the respondents and on receipt of the same, the respondent concerned would consider and pass orders on the same, within the stipulated period.
5. Heard both sides. Perused the records.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and upon submissions made, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent concerned to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 15.07.2025, if it is available with the respondents, on
merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the said representation is not available with the respondents, the petitioner is permitted to submit a copy of the same to the respondents, along with a copy of this order, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the respondent concerned shall consider and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned, within a period of eight weeks thereafter.
7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
