ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation of case in Crime No.581 of 2025, pending on the file of the 3rd respondent to any other investigation agency to conduct the investigation in a proper manner.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's daughter died in a suspicious circumstance in her workplace. Based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the third respondent has registered a case in Crime No.581 of 2025 for the offence punishable under Section 194 BNSS. Since the investigation is not progressing properly, the present petition has been filed seeking transfer of investigation.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that initially, a case was registered under Section 194 BNSS. However, during the course of investigation, the respondent Police has seized the suicide note alleged to have been written by the deceased. Based on that, the case is now altered for offences under Sections 69 (3) (1) (8) and 108 of the BNSS. The person against whom the allegation of abetment of suicide is made, is absconding and the respondents are taking steps to secure him. He reiterated that the investigation is going on in a proper manner and there is no requirement for transfer of investigation.
4. Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of, directing the second respondent, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vridhachalam to monitor the investigation in Crime No.581 of 2025. 18-11-2025 vum Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order To 1.The District Superintendent of Police District Superintendent Office, Cuddalore District.
