ORDER
This writ petition has been filed challenging the online rejection order dated 24.09.2025 passed by the third respondent and for a consequential direction to the respondents to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner for grant of patta, with respect to the subject property.
2. Heard Mr.V.Chandraprabhu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.
3. The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property by virtue of a sale deed dated 07.06.2007 registered as Doc.No.7268/2007, which was executed in favour of his father. Thereafter, the property was 2/5
settled in his favour through a settlement deed dated 08.08.2009 registered as Doc.No.8229 of 2009. The petitioner submitted an application through online, seeking for transfer of patta and the same has been rejected through the rejection order dated 24.09.2025, without assigning any reasons. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
4. In the considered view of this Court, the impugned online rejection order is in complete violation of principles of natural justice, since the petitioner was not given an opportunity of hearing and the rejection order also does not assign any reasons for rejecting the petitioner's application.
5. In view of the same, the impugned online rejection order has to be necessarily interfered by this Court and accordingly, the same is hereby quashed. The matter is remanded back to the file of the third respondent and the third respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry and upon collecting the relevant documents / particulars from the petitioner, shall take a reasoned decision, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
