This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioners on 29.03.2022 wherein the petitioners are seeking issuance of patta in their names with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.J.Chandran Sundar Sasikumar, learned counsel for petitioners and Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondent.

3. The case of the petitioners is that the subject property was purchased by petitioners through a registered sale deed dated 06.06.2012. The petitioners submitted an application on 29.03.2022 seeking transfer of patta in their names based on the title deed. Since the same was not acted upon, subsequent representation was given and the same also did not evoke any response. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the title document dated 06.06.2012, there shall be a direction to the respondent to act upon the online application submitted 2/4

by the petitioners and issue patta in the name of the petitioners within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction.
