O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.10.2025 and further, direct the 2nd to 4th respondents to take criminal action against the 5th respondent, who caused assault on the petitioner at the time of enquiry in the presence of the 2nd respondent on 23.10.2025, in accordance with law.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he had gone to attend an enquiry before the Child Welfare Officer. At that time, the petitioner was brutally assaulted by his wife/5th respondent and her family members in respect of which, the petitioner had given a complaint to the respondent on 23.10.2025. Since no enquiry has been conducted, based on his complaint, the petitioner has approached this Court.

3. When the matter is taken up today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that the complaint has been registered in CSR.No.1996/2025 and the enquiry is pending. 2/4

4. In view of the above, a direction is issued to the 4th respondent to complete the enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
