Respondent(s) PRAYER This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent herein to consider the representation dated 25.06.2025 made by the petitioner herein and pass appropriate orders within stipulated time period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble court.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for a direction to the 1st respondent herein to consider the representation dated 25.06.2025 made by the petitioner herein and to pass appropriate orders within a stipulated time period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble court.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the resident of Thuraiyeri Village and is doing agriculture cooly works in the locality and has vast experience in fishing as licensee of the Chettiappanur Kootu Road Lake from the year 2016. It is further submitted that on 30.01.2025, Vide the G.O.Ms.No.5, Animal Husbandary, Dairying, Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare (FS6-1) Dept., was released with directions to the officials to lease out the fishery rights of the water bodies which are under the control of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department with combined guidelines/procedures for leasing of fishery rights of water bodies vested with the third respondent with priority to Inland Fisherman, Fisherwomen Co-op. Societies, Adi Dravidar engaged in fishing activities. Thereafter, the petitioner made a representation on 25.06.2025 to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the above directions and sought for auctioning of the Chettiappanur Kootu Road

Lake, Jolarpettai Block, Vaniyambadi Taluk, Tirupattur District. However, the same is yet to be considered by the respondents. Hence, the present writ petition is filed with the above said prayer.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a direction be issued to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.06.2025 and to pass appropriate orders, within a stipulated period as fixed by this Court.

4.Per contra, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the issue involved in this writ petition has already been decided by this Court in W.P.No.6819 of 2023 and batch., on 21.06.2023. He further submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 25.06.2025 will be considered by the first respondent in terms of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.6819 of 2023 and batch.,. 5.Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 6.In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, the first respondent is now directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.06.2025, strictly in terms of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.6819 of 2023 and batch., on 21.06.2023 and the Revenue Standing Order.
