ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash S.C.No.95 of 2024 on the file of the District and Sessions Judge, Tiruppattur.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioners sought permission of this Court to withdraw the Criminal Original Petition. He also made an endorsement to that effect. However, he sought a direction to the trial Court to complete the trial within a specific period.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the case is now posted for appearance of the accused before the trial Court on 27.01.2026 and thereafter charges have to be framed and trial would be commenced subsequently.
4. Recording the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn, directing the trial Court viz., the District and Sessions Court, Tiruppattur to complete the trial in S.C.No.95 of 2024 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from 27.01.2026. 21-11-2025 vum Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order
