Respondent PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records relating to the order of rejection passed in proceedings No. Na. Ka.1348/2025/F, dated 28.02.2025 on the file of the respondent quash the same and direct the respondent to issue community certificate to the petitioner's children viz. R.Goutham Prakash and R.Naveena Shree that they belong to Kurumans (ST) Community.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. Number of grounds have been urged assailing the correctness of the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Krishnagiri. But, we are of the view that the petitioner's remedy is to approach the District Collector as per G.O.(Ms) No.147, Revenue (RA-3(2) Department, dated 17.03.2016.

3. The writ petition is dismissed with the aforesaid liberty. There shall be no order as to costs.
