ORDER

The revision petitioner challenges the order dated 28.08.2025, passed in Crl.M.P.No.2077 of 2024 in M.C.No.162 of 2023 on the file of the IV Additional Family Court, Chennai, in and by which, the petitioner was directed to pay a sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only) per month towards monthly maintenance till disposal of the M.C.No.162 of 2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side. The petitioner has agreed to pay Rs.15,000/- per month till the disposal of MC. before the trial Court.

3. It is seen that the petitioner / husband had complied with the earlier order passed by this Court directing him to pay a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only) to the respondents towards the arrears of maintenance.

4. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to pass the following order: (i) The petitioner shall continue to pay a sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only) per month to the respondents till the disposal of M.C.No.162 of 2023. (ii) The trial Court shall decide M.C.No.162 of 2023 within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(iii) The petitioner is exempted from paying the remaining arrears of maintenance till the disposal of M.C.No.162 of 2023.

5. With the above directions, this criminal revision petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed. 16-02-2026 rap
