This writ petition has been filed directing the respondents to grant 28 days ordinary leave without escort to the petitioner's husband Karthi, S/o.Ramalingam @ Eli Ramalingam aged about 44 years, PID No.34951 Convict Prisoner, Vellore Prison, Vellore.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and perused the materials placed on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without expressing any view or opinion with regard to the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.10.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
