ORDER

The revision petitioner is the 4th plaintiff in O.S.No.170 of 2012 on the file of the Subordinate Court, Mettur. The plaintiffs, including the revision petitioner filed the said suit for partition and separate possession. In the said

suit, preliminary decree was passed and subsequently final decree was also passed as early as on 25.06.2014. The revision petitioner's father was allotted 1/5th share in the final decree. The Execution Petition in E.P.No.2 of 2021 was filed before the Sub Court, Mettur to execute the final decree passed in favour of the father of the revision petitioner. The grievance of the revision petitioner is that EP is pending for more than four years without any progress.

2. Considering the limited prayer sought for in the revision petition, I am inclined to dispense with notice to the respondents in this revision Petition.

3. The Hon'ble Supreme Court had also issued directions to the Executing Court to dispose of pending Execution petitions within a period of six months.

4. In the light of the above and considering that the Execution Petition has been field even as early as in January 2021, I am inclined to direct the learned Subordinate Judge, Mettur to dispose of E.P.No.2 of 2021, on merits and in accordance with law, by 30.06.2026.

5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
