JUDGMENT

On the only ground that the electricity service connection stands in the name of 'Krishna Alloys', which is a separate entity, the appellant claims that he is not liable to pay the claim of Rs.19,28,31,124/- made by the respondent Board, which is towards alleged theft of energy together with interest.

2.The learned Single Judge, had taken note of the fact that the firm M/s.Krishna Alloys stands in the name of the petitioner's father viz.Anbalagan, who also happens to be the Director of the petitioner company. Even though, the total claim was around 19 Crores, the learned Single Judge, had ordered for a deposit of Rs.2 Crores only. 3.The issue as to whether the 'Krishna Alloys' can be considered as a separate entity, could be adjudicated during the course of final arguments in the Writ Petition. Since the learned Single Judge had rendered a prima facie view and directed for deposit, we do not find any
