from the date of discontinuation of family pension sanction to the petitioners' younger sister on 09.06.2014 (i.e.,) her attainment of 25 years of age (or) from the date of petitioner's first representation requesting for sanction of family pension along with appropriate interest to the petitioner. O R D E R

This Writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to sanction family pension to the petitioner in accordance with law, by considering the petitioner's repeated representations dated 13.02.2023, 04.04.2023, 03.04.2024, 06.06.2024 and 19.02.2025 and to pay the arrears thereof either from the date of discontinuation of family pension sanctioned to the petitioners' younger sister on 09.06.2014 (i.e.,) her attainment of 25 years of age (or) from the date of petitioner's first representation seeking sanction of family pension along with appropriate interest to the petitioner.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking sanction of family pension, along with arrears from the date of discontinuation of family pension, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
