O R D E R

The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to grant 6 days' Emergency Leave without escort to her father / Life Convict Doss, S/o.Late Ethiraj, CT-1078 now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal-I for the purpose of performing the special prayer of the deceased mother in pursuant to the representation dated 31.10.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, her grandmother, who is the mother of the Life Convict expired on 30.07.2024 and earlier, the Convict was granted two days' emergency leave with escort to attend the ceremony. st year prayer ceremony is proposed to be scheduled, depending upon The 1 the grant of emergency leave to the Convict. Though a representation dated 31.10.2025 has been submitted by the petitioner in this regard, the same has not been considered till now. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the 2/4

nd respondent to consider the representation petitioner, this Court directs the 2 dated 31.10.2025 of the petitioner in respect of grant of emergency leave to the Convict and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
