Mr.M.Murali Vinodh Standing Counsel COMMON ORDER When the Contempt Petitions are taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that Review Applications have been filed against the order in W.A.Nos.2871 & 2872 of 2018 and the said Review Applications are pending consideration.

2. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioners had informed the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court that they would not precipitate the present Contempt Petitions, pending disposal of the Review Applications.

3. Since the petitioners had agreed not to precipitate the Contempt Petitions till the Review Applications are decided by the Hon'ble Division Bench, this Court is of the view that no useful purpose would be served in proceeding with the present Contempt Petitions.

4. Accordingly, the Contempt Petitions are closed. Liberty is granted to the petitioners to seek revival of the Contempt Petitions after disposal of the Review Applications by the Hon'ble Division Bench, if the cause of action survives.
