This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and her family members.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents Police would submit that the petitioner and the third respondent are siblings and there is a property dispute pending between them, due to which, there had been a frequent quarrel between the parties. He would further submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner alleging that she was assaulted and bitten by her brother's wife and sons, the FIR in Crime No.692 of 2025 has been registered by the second respondent, against the respondents 3 to 5 for the offences under Sections 329(4), 296(b), 115(2) and 351(2) of BNS. He would further submit that appropriate action would be taken.
