ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.) The present writ petition has been instituted challenging the show cause notice issued for eviction of encroachments in the water body.
2. Notice has been issued by the water resources department. The said notice would not provide any cause for initiation of writ proceeding.
3. Learned Special Government Pleader would submit that similarly placed encroacher, Mr.K.V.Hari Prasad filed writ petition in WP.No.43363 of 2025, challenging the show cause notice and the same was dismissed by the Division Bench of this Court on 07.11.2025.
4. Pertinently, enforcement action commenced long before and notices were issued on early occasions also. If at all, petitioner possess any
documents, he is at liberty to submit the same before the competent authority, and the competent authority after considering the documents proceed with the enforcement action, and evict the encroachers in the water body by following further procedure as contemplated under the Act. This exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
