Respondent(s) PRAYER Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to rectify / correct the width of the pathway from 1 meter (3.5 Fee) to 3.2 meters (11.5 Feet), which is running from North to South, comprised in Old Survey No.306/42, New Survey No.719/27 situated at Puzhal Village, Madhavaram Taluk, Chennai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 14/07/2025 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 14.07.2025, wherein, the petitioner has sought for the correction of the extent of the property in the FMB sketch.

3/7 2.Heard Mr.R.Ragavendran, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3.It is seen from records that the representation made by the petitioner has been forwarded by the 1 st respondent to the file of the 4 th respondent calling for a report. Thereafter, there was no progress. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the nature of relief sought for by the petitioner, there shall be direction to the 2 nd respondent to deal with the representation made on 14.07.2025, on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass necessary orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4/7 5.This writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. It is made clear that before any orders are passed, notice shall be issued to all the interested parties concerned and they shall be heard. No Costs.
