ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to release the service benefits of deceased Thiru. Eswaran to his Class - I legal heirs as per the Legal Heir Certificate in TN - 7202506111382 issued by the Tahsildar, Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur district by considering the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2025.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a second wife of late Thiru.Eswaran, who was working as a Sanitary Worker in the 3rd respondent Municipality and died on 11.07.2019, while he was in service. It is submitted that the first wife died on 04.10.1997. Subsequently, the petitioner made a representation on 26.09.2025 to release the service benefits of her husband based on the legal heirs certificate obtained by her. However, no order was passed on the same, the present writ petition is filed.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents

would submit that the respondents will consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2025 and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law within a specified time.

4. In view of the same, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.09.2025 and pass orders on the same, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The matter is today listed under the caption 'for being mentioned'. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the third respondent in the writ petition is 'The Commissioner, Dharapuram Municipality, Dharapuram, Tiruppur District', however, in the order dated 21.11.2025 made in W.P.No.44801 of 2025, it has been inadvertently mentioned as 'The Commissioner, Dharmapuri Municipality, Dharmapuram, Tiruppur District' and prayed for appropriate orders.

3.In view of the above, in the order dated 21.11.2025 made in W.P.No.44801 of 2025, the third respondent (both in the cause title and in the to address portion) is to be read as follows:
