..Respondent Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondent for willfully disobeying the order dated 10.02.2025 passed in W.P.No. 4607 of 2023.

ORDER

Alleging that the order of this Court, dated 10.02.2025, passed in W.P.No.4607 of 2023, has not been complied with, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.

The petitioner filed W.P.No.4607 of 2023 seeking a direction to the second respondent to implement the orders of the first respondent therein dated 29.11.2022 and 23.01.2023 vide proceedings No.F.No.1/328/2022 Rep. pending on the file of the second respondent. In the said writ petition, this Court on 10.02.2025, passed the following order:

"2. On perusal of the communication from the first respondent dated 23.01.2023 revealed that, the first respondent Commissioner directed the second respondent to submit action taken report on the representation submitted by the petitioner. Though this Court by an order dated 21.02.2023, directed the second respondent to submit action taken report as directed by the first respondent so far, no enquiry has been conducted by the second respondent.

3. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry as directed by the first respondent dated 23.01.2023 in reference No.1/328/22022 Rep. and submit action taken report within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order 4.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs." 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the aforesaid order of this Court has not been complied with so far. 4.

Per contra, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent on perusal of the documents,

summoned both the parties and conducted an enquiry. On completion of the enquiry, he sent a report on 27.11.2025 through registered post. Further, the copy of the report was also handed over to the petitioner's daughter G.Prathisha, since the petitioner was not available in the house. He further submitted that the report was also sent to the Director, National Commission for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes on 20.12.2025. An affidavit is also filed before this Court by Mr.S.Christin Jayasil, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Selaiyur Range, Tambaram City, to that effect.

Recording the aforesaid submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Contempt Petition stands closed. No costs. 27-01-2026 SRM To The Commissioner of Police, Tambaram Commissioner of Police, Solinganallur, Chennai - 600 119.
