ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 14.08.2025 for the alleged offence under Sections 420 of IPC in Crime No.6 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner, along with his wife, had conducted an unregistered chit fund scheme and thereby collected a total sum of Rs.29,70,000/- and five sovereigns of gold jewels from the 1/4

defacto complainant, as well as from 190 other victims, and subsequently cheated them. Hence, the present case.

3. While considering the bail petition filed by the petitioner in Crl.OP.No.28252 of 2025 dated 16.10.2025, this Court after considering the various points, dismissed the petition. The relevant portion of that order is reads as follows:

" considering the facts, nature of allegations, that huge amount involved in this case, so far no money has been recovered and taking note of the fact that the investigation of this case is pending, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner".

4. Subsequent to the dismissal of the above petition, the petitioner has filed the present petition on the very same grounds that were raised in the earlier bail petition. Further, there is no change in circumstances after the dismissal of earlier petition. Hence, this Court is not inclined to reconsider once again the merits of the claim made in the earlier bail petition.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 21.11.2025 2/4
