This application has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (Act No.26 of 1996) seeking for extension of time for completion of pleadings and for passing final award by the Arbitral Tribunal.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned counsel for the respondent.
3. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the pleadings are completed and the proceedings is at the stage of recording evidence. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that the connected case is pending before the Apex Court and both the parties are awaiting the final decision of that case.
4. Taking into consideration the above submission, the time is extended for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, for passing the final award. 2/4
