PRAYER To order to expedite the suit proceedings before the trial Court, O.S.No.137 of 2017, on the file of the Principal Sub Court, Ponneri, and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper and thus render justice.

ORDER
The petitioner has filed this petition seeking a direction to the Principal Subordinate Judge, Ponneri, to dispose of the suit in OS No.137 of 2017, as expeditiously as possible.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the suit has been pending before the trial Court for more than 8 years. Some of the defendants are senior citizens. The trial Court has not made substantial progress in the matter and has been granting repeated adjournments without restriction. Hence, he prayed for the speedy disposal of O.S.No.137 of 2017, which was filed in the year 2017.
3. Considering that the case has been pending since the year 2017, the learned trial Judge is directed to dispose of the said suit within a period of four
months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Both parties are directed to cooperate for expeditious disposal of the trial proceedings.
