Respondent(s) Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order bearing No.1514153/tha.ku2/2025 Dated 23.09.2025 passed by the 2nd Respondent and quash the same, and Consequently, direct the 2nd respondent TO GRANT ORDINARY LEAVE FOR 21 DAYS to petitioner namely Rajivgandhi, Aged about 39 years S/o.Durairaj (PID No.616827) who now confined in Central Prison, Cuddalore) based on petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2025 for the purpose of arranging funds for Petitioner's mother medical treatment and carry out necessary repairs to the petitioner's house where petitioner's mother resides.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by N.Sathish Kumar J.) This writ petition has been filed challenging the order of rejection to grant 21 days ordinary leave to the petitioner.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.The petitioner's representation to grant 21 days ordinary leave had been rejected on the ground that the petitioner has not completed one year of imprisonment from the date of initial imprisonment to avail such leave. As the petitioner has not completed one year, the impugned order does not warrants any interference. If the petitioner really wants to avail emergency leave, it is for him to make necessary application before the authorities concerned. If such application is filed, the same shall be considered within a period of one week from the date of filing of such application.
4. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
