ORDER
This contempt petition has been filed to initiate contempt proceedings against the respondents for their willful disobedience of the order dated 12.03.2025 passed in Crl.O.P.No.6995 of 2025 and to pass appropriate orders directing strict action against the officers responsible for non-compliance. This Court by the order dated 12.03.2025 passed in Crl.O.P.No.6995 of 2025 directed the 2nd respondent therein to complete the investigation in Crime No.1127 of 2018 and file a final report within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.
2.Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that as directed by this Court, the 2nd respondent has completed the investigation in Crime No.1127 of 2018 and closed the same as "undetected". He prepared R.C.S.Notice No.02/2026, dated 24.02.2026 and also filed a final report before 2 / 4
the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Tambaram. He also produced an affidavit of the 2nd respondent dated 11.03.2026 before this Court to that effect. 3.Recording the above, this Contempt Petition stands closed. If any grievance, so on the final report filed, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the same in accordance with law, if so advised.
