ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a charge sheet in Crime No.62 of 2024.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, an FIR in Crime No.62 of 2024 came to be registered on 03.12.2024 for the offences under Sections 427, 447, 465, 467, 468, 506(2) and 120(B) of IPC and that records are sought for from the revenue authorities and the Registration Department and immediately after receiving of the documents, the respondent will verify the claim of the petitioner and will complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of six (6) months thereafter.
3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.62 of 2024 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
4. With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
