3/8 This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents 4 and 5 to return back all the original Certificates to the petitioners within the time frame fixed by this Court. 2.When the matter came up for hearing on 24.11.2025, this Court passed the following order:
When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner placed the relevant facts in a tabulated format. It is seen that for all the five petitioners, the order came to be passed in a batch of writ petitions holding that the Covid period cannot be treated a bond service. The specific case of the petitioner is that even thereafter no posting orders were given to them and the one year bond period is already completed. Hence, the petitioners are seeking return of their original certificates. 2.
The learned Government Advocate seeks for some time to take instructions in this regard.

Post this case for hearing on 27.11.2025 under the
4/8 caption for orders.
3.Pursuant to the above order, the matter was listed for hearing today and the learned Government Advocate on instructions submitted that till date no posting orders were given to the petitioners. 4.In the light of the above submission, this Court holds that the one year bond period has already come to an end and therefore, the petitioners are entitled for return of the original Certificates submitted by them. Accordingly, there shall be a direction to the 4 th and 5 th respondents to return back all the original Certificates to the petitioners, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No Costs.
