This writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the first respondent dated 28.10.2025, thereby transferring the petitioner from Vellore to

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner joined Government Service as a Junior Assistant and served in various places. Subsequently, he was promoted to the post of Superintendent and thereafter to the post of Bursar. Thereafter, he was converted to the post of Bursar to Personal Assistant to Principal at Uthangarai, Krishnagiri District till 31.08.2024. Now, the petitioner has been transferred to

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the transfer order does not even say any reason for transfer. Further, now the petitioner has been transferred in the middle of the academic year.

5. Admittedly, the petitioner is a non-teaching staff in the College. He is working as PA to Principal.

6. On instructions, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner has been transferred from Vellore district to Erode district for administrative reasons. It was not passed with any malafide intention or without any jurisdiction.

In view of the above, this Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the order passed by the first respondent dated 28.10.2025 and the writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
