ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the fifth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.09.2025 seeking for cancellation of patta bearing Nos.1178, 1779 and 2201 standing in the name of the 7 th respondent, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner claims that since the suit is pending with regard to title of the property morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, patta ought not to have been issued to the 7 th respondent as per Circular issued by the second respondent dated 13.03.2018. In view of the same, the petitioner had given a representation dated 15.09.2025 seeking to cancel the patta granted in favour of the 7 th respondent. Since the said representation is yet to be considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. __________Page 2 of 5

3. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 6. Since no adverse orders are passed against the th respondent, notice to the 7 th respondent in this writ petition is dispensed with.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the fifth respondent, if the petitioner's representation dated 15.09.2025 seeking for cancellation of patta granted in favour of the 7 th respondent is considered on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the fifth respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's representation dated 15.09.2025 seeking for cancellation of patta granted in favour of the 7 th respondent, after giving due consideration to the circular dated 13.03.2018 issued by the second respondent, and after hearing the objections from the neighbour land owners and any other party as the fifth respondent deems fit to enquire. The fifth respondent is directed to complete the aforesaid exercise within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court is not expression any opinion on the merits of the aforesaid __________Page 3 of 5

representation of the petitioner. No Costs.
