This Criminal Original Petition has filed to direct the Judicial Magistrate No I, Bhavani to complete the trial in STC.NO. 95/2024 taken 1/4

on the file for offences under Section 341, 323 and 506(ii) IPC.

2. When the case was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that there were 30 accused in this case. The petitioner has been arrayed as A1 in this case and it is seen that summons have not been served on the other accused. However, in respect of A8, bailable warrant is pending and the case stands posted today (i.e., 27.11.2025). In such view of the matter, a direction cannot be issued for completing the trial. However, though such a period cannot be fixed, the learned Judicial Magistrate is directed to complete the trial as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one year.

3. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
