This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 483(1)(b) r/w 528 of BNSS, seeking to modify the condition passed in Crl.MP.No.3320/2025 dated 14.10.2025 by the Principal Session Judge, Vellore condition (a) directing the Petitioners to execute sureties before the Judicial Magistrate (Addl.Mahila), Vellore and (b) the Petitioners shall appear before the Judicial Magistrate (Addl. Mahila), Vellore daily at 10.30 a.m. on all working days until further orders, be relaxed in full.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to relax the condition passed in Crl.MP.No.3320/2025 dated 14.10.2025 by the learned Principal Session Judge, Vellore.

2. The learned Principal Sessions Judge, Vellore on 14.10.2025 in Crl.M.P.No.3320 of 2025 granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners with the following conditions:

"5(a) The petitioners shall, in the event of their arrest by the respondent police or surrender before the Judicial Magistrate (Additional Mahila), Vellore within 15 days from today, be enlarged on bail on their executing a bond for Rs.10,000/- each, within two sureties for like sum each to the satisfaction of the above said Magistrate. 5(b) The petitioners shall appear and sign before the Judicial Magistrate (Additional Mahila), Vellore daily at 10.30 AM, on all working days until further orders, from the next day of execution of bond before the Magistrate Court."

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that petitioners inadvertently executed sureties before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Gudiayatham, Vellore District on 28.10.2025 and the same was initially accepted and upon verification it was returned, due to which, time was lapsed and petitioners could not execute the sureties as ordered by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Vellore. Subsequently, petitioners moved a petition seeking extension of time before the learned Judicial Magistrate, (Additional Mahila), Vellore on 30.10.2025, and the same was dismissed. Hence, the learned counsel seeks for modification of the conditions.

4. Heard, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for

the respondent police.

Considering the facts and circumstances and the submissions made the learned counsel appearing on either side, the conditions imposed upon the petitioners by the Judicial Magistrate Court, Gudiyatham, Vellore District in Crl.M.P.No.3320 of 2025, is modified to the effect that the petitioners shall appear before the respondent police once in a week on every Saturday at 10:30 a.m., for a period of two weeks and thereafter as and when required for interrogation. Further, the time is extended by one week to the petitioners to execute the sureties as ordered by the Judicial Magistrate Court, Gudiyattam, Vellore District on 14th October, 2025 in Cr.M.P.No.3320 of 2025, from the date on which, the order copy made ready.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands ordered.
