This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 01.09.2022 made in W.P.No.3632 of 2016. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner filed writ petition challenging the demand made by the respondents in respect of the document registered by the petitioner and the said writ petition was allowed by this Court and challenging the same, the respondents preferred writ appeal in 2/4

W.A.SR.No.23905 of 2017 along with civil miscellaneous petition in C.M.P.No.5616 of 2017 and in the said civil miscellaneous petition the Hon'ble Division Bench recorded the submission made by the learned Additional Advocate General who appeared on behalf of the petitioners therein, that the entire stamp duty demanded has been paid by the petitioner herein and hence, the Hon'ble Division Bench issued direction to the respondents herein to release the petition's document, however, the same has not yet been complied. The learned counsel further submitted that the required stamp duty and registration fee was paid, however, the respondents are seeking the differential amount.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader submitted that inadvertently, the then learned Additional Advocate General made the statement as if the entire amount has been paid, however, the amount demanded was not paid by the petitioner and further submitted that subsequently, W.A.SR.No.23905 of 2017 has been numbered as W.A.No.1298 of 2017 and this Court may grant liberty to the petitioner to revive the contempt petition after disposal of the writ appeal, if the respondents lose their case. He further submitted that the required stamp duty is Rs.9,80,72,114/-, whereas, the petitioner has paid 3/4
