2.The prosecution's case is that on 24.10.2025, at 1.30 p.m., the petitioner and other accused engaged in a verbal altercation with the defacto complainant while he was grazing his cattle, and subsequently assaulted him. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for petitioner submitted that the entire allegation is false, vindictive, wanton and he is no way connected with the offence. He would submit that he has not at all committed any of offence as alleged by the respondent police and he has been falsely implicated in this case and he will abide by any condition that may be imposed by this court. Hence, he prayed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent reported that there are two previous cases pending against the petitioner and the investigation is not yet completed. He would submit that if he is released on anticipatory bail, he would hamper investigation and tamper the witnesses. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the above facts and circumstances and according to the prosecution, due to previous enmity of quarrel happened between the petitioner and the defacto complainant, the petitioner along with other accused have

assaulted him, in which defacto complainant sustained severe multiple injuries all over the body and on seeing the gravity of offence committed by the petitioner and the fact that the investigation is not yet completed and so, at this stage, if he is released on anticipatory bail, he may abscond and there is possibility of tampering evidence and hampering investigation, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
