Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent authority to include the name of the petitioners in beneficiary list and issue No Objection Certificate with respect to the land in Survey No.215/4, to an extent of about 12.50 Ares at Narasingapuram Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District to the petitioners for house-site use under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Bhoodan Yagna Act, 1958 by disposing of the petitioners representation dated 25.10.2025 within such time as may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to include the name of the petitioners in the beneficiary list and issue No Objection Certificate with regard to the land morefully described in the Page No.2 of 7
prayer to this writ petition for the petitioners to use the said land as house-site under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Bhoodan Yagna Act, 1958, based on their representation, dated 25.10.2025.
2. The petitioners claim that they are eligible to be in possession of the lands morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Bhoodan Yagna Act, 1958. They also claim that till now they are possession of the said lands. They have given a representation to the respondents on 25.10.2025 seeking to include their names in the beneficiary list under the Tamil Nadu Bhoodan Yagna Act, 1958. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioners have filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioners' representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Page No.3 of 7
5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' representation.
6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 1st respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioners' representation, dated 25.10.2025 seeking for inclusion of the name of the petitioners in the beneficiary list and for issuance of NOC for the lands under the respective possesion, which are morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, which are Bhoodan lands, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
