The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to pay a sum of Rs.29,59,937.50 to the petitioner as per his representation dated 05.09.2025.
2. Heard both sides. With the consent of both sides, the present Writ Petition is taken up for hearing at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner purchased the immovable property bearing shop No.488, measuring to an extent of 400 sq. ft. at ground floor, No.39, Adhithanar Salai, Pudupet, Chennai from its original owner by name R.Ashokan, vide registered sale deed dated 04.09.2014 in Doc. No.2161 of 2014 on the file of the Sub Registrar, Periamet. He continued that despite the said transfer of the subject property to the petitioner, the respondents paid the rents to the erstwhile owner till 28.02.2017 and thereafter stopped paying rents to his vendor, due to which, the petitioner's vendor and his son, filed a suit in O.S.No.6707 of 2019 before the III Assistant City Civil Court, Chennia which came to be dismissed for non prosecution on 03.12.2024.
He further submitted that there was a settlement between the petitioner and his vendor in this regard and thereafter, the vendor and his son gave a letter to the second respondent on 17.12.2024 in respect of their non objection for releasing the rental arrears to the petitioner, since there was no response, the petitioner's vendor made another detailed representation dated 26.12.2024 reiterating the same which also went in vain.

4. The learned counsel for the respondents submitted that based on the petitioner's representation dated 05.09.2025, appropriate orders will be passed.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and taking into account of the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.09.2025 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no orders as to costs.
