This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 598 days in filing this Criminal Appeal against the conviction and sentence made in Spl.

S.C.No. 26 of 2021 dated 19.01.2024 on the file of Sessions Judge, Special Court for Exclusive trial of cases under POCSO Act, Villupuram.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

3. On being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 598 days is condoned and the petition is ordered.
