ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, for a direction to the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 19.05.2025, seeking for cancellation of patta issued in the name of Jothiammal for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Jothiammal, in whose name the patta stands is not arrayed as a party

respondent in this writ petition. However, this Court is of the considered view that no prejudice would be caused to the respondent if the petitioner's representation dated 19.05.2025, seeking for cancellation of patta standing in the name of Jothiammal, is considered on merits and in accordance with law after hearing the objections of Jothiammal and any other third party, whom the respondent deems it fit to enquire within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation dated 19.05.2025.

4. For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 19.05.2025, seeking for cancellation of patta standing in the name of Jothiammal for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after issuing notice to Jothiammal and after hearing her objections and also hearing the objections of any third party, whom the respondent deems it fit to enquire.
