O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the fourth respondent to revoke the order of suspension dated 22.04.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. On perusal of the records, it is revealed that the petitioner, while working as Junior Engineer Grade II, was trapped by the Vigilance Officials on the basis of a complaint lodged by the complainant. A trap was set up and the petitioner was caught red-handed while receiving a bribe. Thereafter, a First Information Report was registered in Crime No.3 of 2025 2/5

and the petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody. Therefore, the petitioner deemed to have been suspended from service by order dated 22.04.2025.

4. Further, it is seen that now, the investigation is pending in Crime No.3 of 2025 for the offences punishable under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act. Therefore, it is pre-mature to revoke the order of suspension. Hence, this Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the order of suspension and the direction sought for in this Writ Petition cannot be considered.

5. In the result, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. 21.11.2025 Index:Yes/No kv 3/5
