PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders based on petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2025, restraining the respondents from opening a TASMAC retail shop at Plot No.55, Chellasamy Nagar, Pondur Panchayat Union, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard.

2. As against the petitioner's allegation that there has been a proposal for opening a new TASMAC shop at Plot No.55, Chellasamy Nagar, Pondur Panchayat Union, learned counsel appearing for the respondent Nos.2 and 3, on instructions, would submit that, as a

matter of fact, there is no proposal to open the TASMAC shop, as alleged by the petitioner.

3. This writ petition has been filed without proper research and only on surmises and conjectures, which are unfounded.

4. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
