ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation to survey and fix boundaries and transfer the patta and also make sub-division, for the property comprised in Survey No.178/2G, to an extent of 303⁄4 cents of Punjai lands, situated at Ramireddipatty Village & Post, Omalur Taluk, Salem District, within a time limit to be stipulated by this Court.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instruction would submit that subsequent to the filing of this Writ Petition, the representation, which is the subject matter of this Writ Petition, has been rejected by the first respondent and the said order has been challenged by the petitioner by preferring an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Mettur Page No.2 of 4

Taluk. He further submits that the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has now become infructuous.

This Court after recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, dismisses the Writ Petition as infructuous, by granting liberty to the petitioner to raise all the grounds, which have been raised in this Writ Petition, before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Mettur. There shall be no order as to costs.
